Nora Nolien Wroblewski (she/they) is an actor, singer, dancer, and choreographer based in the Midwest. In her work, she values professionalism, versatility, and most importantly, authenticity. Nora strives to create a positive and productive atmosphere wherever she goes.
And where has she gone? Nora grew up in Madison, Wisconsin, where she began taking dance lessons at four years old. While continuing lessons in ballet, jazz, and contemporary dance, Nora tried out a few instruments. She spent a couple years with guitar, piano, cello, and upright bass, but in middle school, settled with percussion in band and bass guitar in jazz band. Also in middle school, Nora started singing in choir and auditioning for musicals. Her first roles fittingly being Miss Bell in Fame Jr and Dance Captain in The Wizard of Oz Jr, Nora spent all four years of high school back at the middle school choreographing the productions there.
Nora cites the ‘monkey see, monkey do’ mentality for getting her into the performing arts, as her older brother played, sang, and acted in the same jazz bands, acapella groups, and musicals many years before she got involved. But where the arts remained as a hobby for her brother, they became a vocation for Nora. After high school, Nora began pursuing her vocation at Roosevelt University’s Chicago College of Performing Arts, where she is on track to graduate with a BFA in Musical Theatre: Dance Emphasis and a minor in Jazz and Contemporary Music in 2028.
